so, i heard that when your kid has a diaper rash, the best thing is to get some air on it. my son's been eating tomatoes a lot lately, so his butt is bright ass red. so i took off his diaper and let him run around naked. it wasn't even five minutes before i saw him squatting in the middle of the living room, "reading" a book. i was like "dude, he's probably taking a dump." lo and behold, he stood up and walked away, leaving two little poop nuggets on the middle of my rug. that's the kind of day i've had.

i've been on myspace for ever and ever, since before it was even cool. but now, i have done the unthinkable. i joined facebook.

i love it.
okay. so. the new washer and dryer are on the way. we looked at 4 different places, and i finally made a decision. woohoo.
big fat tax check, yay! then we got another one from the state. yeehaw! i've been shopping like it's my job.
oh! oh! aaaand. i bought my ticket to the hair show in st. louis! hurray!
also. a girl that i went to elementary school with works at my bank. how effin' crazy is that?
i can't believe i forgot to mention keegan's new tricks!
somehow he learned how to open the fridge and eat whipped cream out of the can. wtf. he's also in the habit of sticking things in holes. he's been throwing his toys in the trash can, stuffing the lint roller down into his ball popper, dropping blocks into buckets, and throwing his toys over the barrier where he can't get to them anymore. he shakes his head no, he throws food when he's tired of eating, and he spins around in circles. oh yeah, and the machine gun sound. he does that. and he knows a phone when we sees one, whether it's a cell phone or any sort of home phone, cordless or otherwise, and he throws a FIT for phones.

| The Best Christmas Cookies Ever |

A chick sent this to me on cafemom.
If you are looking for that special cookie recipe to share during the holidays, this is the one to make on Christmas Eve. It will put you in the HO HO HO mood!
TEQUILA COOKIES
1 cup of dark brown sugar
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1 cup of granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 cups of dried fruit, such as dried cranberries or raisins
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp fresh lemon juice
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts or pecans
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 bottle Jose Cuervo Tequila (silver or gold, as desired)
Sample the Cuervo to check quality. Take a large bowl, check the Cuervo again, to be sure it is of the highest quality, pour one level cup and drink. Turn on the electric mixer. Beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl.
Add one teaspoon of sugar. Beat again. At this point it's best to make sure the Cuervo is still OK, try another cup just in case.
Turn off the mixerer thingy. Break 2 leggs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of dried fruit. Pick the frigging fruit off floor. Mix on the turner. If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaterers just pry it loose with a drewscriver.
Sample the Cuervo to check for tonsisticity. Next, sift two cups of salt, or something. Check the Jose. Now shift the lemon juice and strain your nuts. Add one table. Add a spoon of sugar, or somefink. Whatever you can find.
Grease the oven. Turn the cake tin 360 degrees and try not to fall over. Don't forget to beat off the turner.
Finally, throw the bowl through the window, finish the Hose A Juervo and make sure to put the stove in the dishwasher.
